Last weekend of the January, the International Board organised a so-called Recruitment weekend for potential Board Members. This three-day event served as a learning experience for ESN members who are considering becoming Board members. We welcomed 7 participants - Elin from Sweden, Sophie from the UK, Valentina from Italy, Veeli from Estonia, Ervin from Hungary, Marc from the Netherlands and Troels from Denmark.

On Saturday, we were hosting a special soiree for the participants and all the partner student organisations also based here in Brussels. The aim was to give our participants an opportunity to meet board members of other youth organisations and get different opinions on how the life in Brussels is. Furthermore, we decided to use this event also as the very first fundraising event of the International Board - introducing Give20 to the partner organisations and inviting them to contribute to this special initiative.

It was overall very successful as in the end, we fundraised a little bit more than 165 euros - thanks a lot to all the guests who donated some money to make Give20 a success!!!
